In 1993, SEWA Academy published its research report title "My Life My Work". At that time SEWA's membership was 53,570 while in 2005 it was 7,96,755 and in 2008 it became 9,66,139. The work of SEWA is to train leaders and orient the younger generation how these leaders have contributed towards empowerment of women. This study is primarily conducted to find out this very phenomenon. Through a systematic sampling from the urban organization of 730 representatives, 150 representatives are selected for this depth study.
